  1. This book is about old Hong Kong in the seventies with great illustrations. There is talk of many things he saw and then some things you can do today! It describes the trams, rickshaws, restaurants and even street newspapers. There are lots of things in the book that I did not know, so the book was very exciting for me. For example, I knew that there were 32 different newspapers in Hong Kong.

However, I think the Hong Kong government should have protected landmarks such as the Spring Queen. Also, I like to go to Tiger Balm Gardens, while the new library is great. This book can make the adults sad to see as many monuments have been lost.

Color photo copies gray and fuzzy charm of this recent reissue of original paintings silent Miroslav Saseka is bright and detailed. While it is wonderful that all the “This Is …” The books are now readily available, it is regrettable that was rebuilt in a way that hinders the magic of art Miroslav Saseka – and delight the reader.

The graphics are very nice and there are plenty of accurate description of the culture of Hong Kong. However, most are content to Hong Kong in the 50s. I really recommend upgrading to this version. If children read this book and travel to Hong Kong then be totally shocked.
